These terms cover your use of this website and the freelance design and development services offered by arddev (Ashish Ranjan Das), based in Bengaluru, India. By using this site, you agree to them.

Using this website

You're welcome to browse, share and link to this site. Please don't copy its design, code, text or images for your own commercial use, or try to disrupt how it works.

Project work

Every project starts with a written proposal or agreement covering scope, timeline, deliverables and price. That agreement governs the project; where it differs from these terms, the agreement wins.

• Changes outside the agreed scope may affect the timeline and cost, and will be agreed in writing first.
• Timelines depend on receiving content, feedback and approvals from you on time.

What you provide

You're responsible for the content you give me, such as text, images, logos and brand assets, and for having the right to use it. If a claim arises because of content you supplied, that responsibility is yours.

Revisions

Each project includes two rounds of revisions unless the agreement says otherwise. Further rounds are billed separately.

Payments

Invoices are payable as set out in the project agreement. Work may pause if a payment is overdue, and final files are handed over once the project is paid in full.

Advance and cancellation

Projects begin once a 50% advance is paid. If you cancel after work has started, the advance is non-refundable and any work completed beyond it will be invoiced. If I have to cancel, I'll refund any payment for work not yet done.

Third-party costs

Domains, hosting, paid plugins, stock assets and similar costs are not included in the project price unless the agreement says so. Applicable taxes are charged in addition.

Ownership

Once a project is paid in full, you own the final deliverables made for you, unless the agreement says otherwise. Third-party fonts, libraries, images and tools stay under their own licences. Everything on this website remains the property of arddev.

After launch

I'll fix bugs in my work free of charge for 30 days after handover. New features, content changes and ongoing maintenance are quoted separately.

No guaranteed results

I build sites to perform well, but I can't guarantee specific outcomes such as search rankings, traffic or sales, since those depend on many things outside my control.

Portfolio

I may show completed work in my portfolio and on social media. If your project is confidential, just say so in the agreement and I'll keep it private.

Liability

This site and its content are provided as is. To the extent the law allows, arddev isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and total liability for a project is limited to the amount paid for it.

Other websites

Links to other sites, such as Instagram, GitHub and LinkedIn, are governed by those sites' own terms.

Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka have jurisdiction.
